My partner and I came to dine the night after our wedding for dinner and were very excited. Blackbird did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and polite. We ordered the 10th anniversary whiskey flight, which was delightful; the flight really matched the vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious and faultless and at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend and look forward to the next time I might be back.

The food is amazing. The charcuterie board at the bar to everything in the main restaurant was exceptional. Cocktails looking over the river is a great place to sit watch the ferries and boats go by as well. We loved it so much we ended up having our wedding reception here!

Riverside dining with a touch of elegance!! Thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Blackbird for our 7 year anniversary. Our lovely waiter Jun provided outstanding service in both a professional and friendly manner. We got the King River Wagyu Bavette, Five Founders Rib-eye, Steamed Broccolini, Shoestring Fries, and 2 sauces. The meal as a whole was spectacular. This was our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. Will be visiting again soon!

Amazing experience at blackbird, sublime view from the table and the staff were very welcoming and great. Got the seafood platter for 2 to start our meal, very fresh, sweet tasting especially the scallops. Tuna tartare had quite abit of sinew in it, room for improvement on that. As for mains we got a john dory and the five founders ribeye. As you can see from the pictures it’s cooked perfectly medium rare, great crust, good seasoning and just a very delightful steak. John dory was cooked just right, sea urchin sauce not too overpowering but it’s missing a little sweetness to it which would elevate it even more. Still a great meal for 2 and they even gave us free chocolate mousse cones for our dessert. Would come back again

Best Restaurant, absolutely Awesome! ! 😊 We had the pleasure of hosting our Client dinner for AIM in the deco room last night. I cannot thank the team enough. Everyone from Naz who helped me book and choose menu etc to Anna our lovely host and waitress for the night to the bartenders that were so professional and helpful. Not forgetting the amazing Chef and kitchen team that served the most delicious food all night. Seriously cannot fault a single thing. Everyone was super impressed and had a fabulous night. Thank you so much 😊

I had such a wonderful dining experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Eric. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly polite. He made us feel genuinely valued as guests, checking in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. Eric was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. His friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out and added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s rare to come across service that feels both efficient and so genuinely kind. Thank you, Eric, for making our visit so enjoyable —we’ll definitely be back! The food was 10/10 to!! :)

Ordered T-bone and it was super good, highly recommended! It was cooked to perfection! Oyster was also very fresh especially with the sauce provided. Dessert is a must try as well. Definitely a place I would want to go back if I re-visit Brisbane.

From the moment we walked through the doors, everything about our evening at Blackbird felt exceptional. Before service had even begun, we were able to witness the manager giving a pep talk to the team a genuine reminder that behind the atmosphere and service is a group of people working together with pride and purpose. That set the tone for the night. Our waiter, Henry, deserves special mention. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, knowledgeable about the dishes, and offered helpful suggestions that really enhanced our experience. His professionalism and warmth made us feel well looked after from start to finish. The food itself was nothing short of superb fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. Each dish was a perfect balance of flavour and presentation, leaving us feeling both satisfied and impressed. Altogether, it was one of those rare evenings where everything aligned. Service, atmosphere, and food making it a truly memorable dining experience. Will definitely see you again. Regards Dwayne

Really good place for a great meal. I wouldn't do the Paris butter again personally, but the jus was great. Potatoes were incredible! Lady who served us a was a little inattentive, she bought the wrong meals and sides over and disappeared and we took a hot minute to flag her down to let us know. She wasnt apologetic and didn't really seem to care about doing a good job - or wasnt told how to do it. Will come again. P.s posted this not on the day as I didnt want to get anyone in trouble if they were just having a bad day, but still wanted to give the feedback

Excellent high end steak house with stunning views over the river. The Wagyu steak was melt in the mouth and we loved all the side dishes. The Brussel Sprouts were a favourite. This is a wonderful place for a business dinner or a romantic evening. Lovely staff, especially our French waitress from Bordeaux - merci bien!
